Since our presenters on the DVD, Chad and Lando Alcock, are based in Port Elizabeth, we have focused a great deal of our fishing in the Eastern Cape.
Many months of hard work are invested into each DVD production and we have a top documentary cameraman filming all of the action. The standard we have set is very high and in the end you receive 2 full episodes on a single DVD, that’s great value for your money.
The greatest benefit anglers will derive from viewing these DVD’s is in the technical information that is shown. What has taken the finest fishermen in South Africa decades to learn and perfect in their quest to catch fish, is now simply revealed through our series of Fish Africa DVD’s.
On DVD-01, we looked at lure and bait fishing in and around Port Elizabeth. Here we targeted Leery on surface lures from the surf and deep sea, Kob in the rivers and deep sea on dropshot and leadhead, Elf out at sea on spoon and surface lures, Poenskop from the rocks using various baits, Bronze Bream from the side on bait and finally a section for kids to learn how to fish in gullies on light tackle.
DVD-02 saw us visiting the Wild Coast where we targeted a multitude of fish species from the side and off boats in the estuaries. In the rivers we targeted Giant Trevally, Big Eye Kingfish,Yellowtail Kingfish, Barracuda, River Snapper, River Bream and Kob on surface lures, swimming lures, dropshot and leadhead. We also included a section on how to catch Bronze Bream along the Transkei coast on a variety of baits.
DVD-03 is currently in production and it has some of the most incredible fishing action South Africa will ever get to see. You won’t believe the amazing GT, Barracuda and other Kingfish action in these Transkei rivers. There is also a section on Giant Kob fishing in Port Elizabeth and the Alcock Brothers catch over 30 of these monsters and return them safely home. DVD-03 is to be released on the 01 December 2010. So sit back, relax and watch the Alcock brothers in action as they keep you on the edge of your seat.
