Alcock Brothers

Chad and Lando Alcock are twins who have fished together all their lives.

This inseparable duo has spent the past two and a half decades honing their skills in the art of artificial lure fishing.

Their father, Dave Alcock, is one of the Eastern Capes first pioneers in artificial lure fishing and he is well known all around the world for his vast knowledge base and exceptional technical skill.

Chad and Lando have the uncanny ability of finding fish wherever they venture on a film shoot, they say it’s just by following a few simple rules, but it seems to be a far deeper understanding of fish and how they feed.  Some might say they think like a fish and this gut feeling seems to produce large catches time and time again.

Decades of fishing experience in a multitude of diverse conditions throughout the months of the year allows them to forge a vast knowledge base for target species in different areas.

Hitting it lucky once does not mean that you have cracked the code, it’s only once you have repeatedly caught a specific species on a range of lures at the same spot in different conditions, times and tides that you can say you have truly mastered that fish.

The Alcock Brother’s bring a wealth of information to the DVD’s with their intimate knowledge of all local fish species and the areas in which they can be targeted.
